Teaching the kids how to ride bikes is one of those parenting tasks I haven't been looking forward to. With slightly older, uptigh and somewhat over protective parents, the odds didn't look great for it going smoothly. However Ronan informed us it was time to take off the stabilizers if he hoped to have any street cred at the age of 6 and there quarters. Before I had time to get knee pads, elbow pads and a Michelin man suit, he was up and off, ably taught by his Dad.
I'm so proud of the two of them...and delighted that we have set the precedent for who teaches future important life skills including future bike lessons and driving when the time comes. On the cycling front it's one down, two to go.
